"Elusive Creatures", on Splasc(h) Records, is Michael's first solo cd, recorded in Bergamo, Italy with his regular jazz trio, made up of himself, drummer Giampiero Prina, and bassist Paolino Dalla Porta, a Soul Note recording artist in his own right. It's a very melodic and creative cd which relies on simple melodies and harmonies deriving from jazz, classical and new age. Jazz Critic Art Lange had this to say about it: "It's a gift to be simple, and that gift is shared in this music", whereas drummer.
